Nice timing for Honma

This is huge news for the Japanese company, who’s highest-ranking male signing in the past was 174th placed Hideto Tanihara. Top ranking players Set Yeon Ryu and Shan-Shan Feng also have endorsements with the Japanese company. As a result of all of this excitement, Honma saw its value on the Hong Kong stock exchange rise by a huge 30% since the whispers of the Rose collaboration began circulating a few months ago. A new Honma range of golfing equipment Honma XP-1 is now released. And this will probably be increasing the value of the company further.

The combination with Rose and Honma was encouraged by Mark King, TaylorMade’s former CEOs. It’s no surprise that Justin Rose held a long endorsement contract with TaylorMade right up until signing with Honma. King is now working in a consultancy role with Honma. And hoping to increase awareness of the luxury brand across America and Europe. There’s no denying that signing the popular Justin Rose, a former Olympic Gold Medal winner. and the European Ryder Cup team player will be a huge boost for Honma’s future success.

Justin Rose Whats in the Bag (WITB)

Rose is expected to start using and wearing Honma’s equipment in the near future, but the news of the big named signing has been enough to start a crescent wave for the Japanese company. The new product range, soon to be released in the USA, is also predicted to bring big business to the profit markets of the company, and with the Hong Kong stock market showing huge increases already, who is to say that the signing of world number 2 Rose won’t be the first big-named collaboration between the stars of the International golfing world, and the Japanese luxury brand. There is the talk of at least one more non-Asian player about to sign pen to the paper also, although no word on who exactly that may be yet.

All of this adds up to a fortuitous forthcoming year for Honma, and with quality apparel and equipment, probably also for Rose too.
